　　蚊子和獅子

　　A mosquito went up to a lion and said, “Everyone says you are the strongest animal in the world.”

　　一只蚊子來(lái)到獅子面前，說(shuō)：“大家都說(shuō)你是世界上強(qiáng)壯的動(dòng)物。”

　　“That’s right,” said the lion. “I am big and strong, and I have sharp teeth.”

　　“沒(méi)錯(cuò)，”獅子說(shuō)，“我又大又壯，我還擁有鋒利的牙齒。”

　　“Well, I’m not afraid of you,” said the mosquito. “I am going to fight you, and I am going to win!”

　　“然而，我不怕你。”蚊子說(shuō)。“我要跟你搏斗，而我將會(huì)贏。”

　　“You could never win,” laughed the lion. “I am a thousand times stronger than you.”

　　“你一定不會(huì)贏，”獅子說(shuō)，“我比你強(qiáng)壯幾千倍。”

　　“Here I come!” cried the mosquito, and he flew toward the lion’s face.

　　“看我的!”蚊子喊叫著，他飛向了獅子的臉。

　　The mosquito landed on the lion's nose and bit him again and again. The lion tried to sink his teeth into the mosquito, but the mosquito was too small.

　　蚊子落在了獅子的鼻子上，不斷地咬他。獅子嘗試用牙齒咬蚊子，但是蚊子太小了。

　　"I give up!" said the lion. "Please don't bite me anymore."

　　”我認(rèn)輸了!“獅子說(shuō)，”求你不要再咬我了。“

　　"I won!" shouted the mosquito as he flew away. But he didn't look where he was going and he became trapped in a spider's web.

　　”我贏了!“蚊子一邊飛走一邊歡呼。但是他沒(méi)有留意他的去向，然后陷入到一個(gè)蜘蛛網(wǎng)里。

　　"How strange," thought the mosquito. "I defeated a lion, but a tiny spider can defeat me."

　　”太奇怪了，“蚊子想，”我打敗了一只獅子，但是一只小蜘蛛?yún)s可以打敗我。“

　　狐貍與猴子國(guó)王

　　Once upon a time, the animals gathered together and had a meeting in the woods.

　　從前，動(dòng)物們聚在一起在樹(shù)林里開(kāi)會(huì)。

　　Theirmeeting was about 'Who gets to become the king?'

　　會(huì)議的主題是“誰(shuí)將成為國(guó)王?”

　　However, they could not come to a conclusion easily.

　　但是，他們爭(zhēng)來(lái)爭(zhēng)去沒(méi)有一個(gè)統(tǒng)一的結(jié)論。

　　After a long period of time, a rabbit suggested,

　　"Wow! The monkey dances the best. Let's crown the monkeyas our king."

　　As a result, the monkey became the king.

　　After the monkey became king, a cunning fox got jealous.

　　猴子成為國(guó)王后，狡猾的狐貍很是嫉妒。

　　'How can such a stupid animal become king? None sense!'

　　“這樣一個(gè)愚蠢的動(dòng)物怎么能當(dāng)國(guó)王呢?真是太好笑了!

　　One day, the fox found a snare with a piece of meat on it while walking around.

　　一天，狐貍散步的時(shí)候發(fā)現(xiàn)了一個(gè)肉塊的陷阱。

　　The foxcarefully picked up the snare and took it to the monkey king.

　　狐貍小心地拿起這個(gè)陷阱，把它呈給了猴子國(guó)王。

　　"My lord! I discovered a treasure. It is magnificent."

　　“國(guó)王!我發(fā)現(xiàn)了一個(gè)寶藏。它的制作真是精巧。”

　　"Really? Bring it to me quickly."

　　“快給我看看。”

　　The monkey was so excited that he approached the snare carelessly.

　　猴子很興奮，絲毫沒(méi)有防備地走近這個(gè)陷阱。

　　And the monkey fell into the snare.

　　就這樣，猴子掉進(jìn)了陷阱里。

　　"Snap!""Ouch!" shouted the monkey with surprise.

　　“快!”“哎喲!”猴子驚訝地大叫。

　　The monkey realized he got caught in a trap and blamed the fox.

　　意識(shí)到自己被困在陷阱里時(shí)，猴子才開(kāi)始指責(zé)狐貍。

　　"You deceived me. What a bad fox!"

　　“你騙我。你真是個(gè)壞心眼狐貍!”

　　Then, the fox laughed at the monkey and said,

　　然后，狐貍笑著說(shuō)：

　　"You stupid monkey! How embarrassing it is forus to have such a fool like you as a king!"

　　“你這只笨猴子!有一個(gè)像你這樣的傻瓜國(guó)王，我們多尷尬啊!”

　　After saying that, the fox disappeared.

　　說(shuō)完，狐貍就消失了。

　　The monkey became the laughingstock of other animalsfor behaving without thinking carefully.

　　從此以后，猴子因?yàn)樽约旱牟焕碇切袨槌蔀槠渌麆?dòng)物的笑柄。
